You'll need a Digital Certificate before you can do anything, the right payment form (Modelo 790-038, and only section 7, not the other six), a digitally signed MI-T application uploaded through the UGE portal, and a long list of supporting documents in the right format. One wrong checkbox or an expired payment receipt and your application stalls.

Gathering your documents and understanding the income thresholds, setting up your Certificado Digital and AutoFirma, paying the fees correctly, completing and submitting the MI-T application, and once approved, applying for your physical TIE residence card.
